Tao joins the team at Kent Greenhouse with several years of international experience under her belt. Tao served as an urban designer and planner in Changsha, China for four years during a major turning point for massive urbanization in the country. It was then that she discovered a passion for creating functional, beautiful, and engaging spaces. She continued her education upon her arrival in the United States and earned a masters degree in Landscape Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design.
Tao lives in New Milford and enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband and their son. In her spare time, she enjoys making small art projects and homemade gifts. Outside of work, she has been known to volunteer with the Gaylordsville Fire Department for holiday activities and events.
